Wow! What a season this is turning out to be for me. Got my second quality buck this past Saturday morning- a 193lb brute. I cannot remember a season when I’ve had so many quality bucks in bow range. I’ve had at least five great bucks in bow range. However, I’ve only shot at two of them for one reason or another. Thinking back on some I didn’t shoot I can see that I was too patient, if that’s possible. I’ve always believed the best time to shoot a big buck is when you see him. They don’t get big by being stupid. There’s one nice 8pt that’s eluded me twice already. Like Vince Gill sang, “give me one more last chance’!!! Another good buck slipped me just yesterday.
