Now for the rest of the story. This one ends on a positive note. I went back to resume the search this morning and God blessed me with a recovery. The deer only went about 50 yds beyond where I stopped last night. However, I believe I made the right decision in backing out because I’m convinced this deer beddded and expired at some point due to loss of blood. The arrow did not hit any vitals but the Swacker broadhead did its job anyway. Look for the video of the shot and recovery in a couple of days. Later…
