The 2025 season is a wrap and it was a mixed bag, some good and some not so good. I had nice kill early (9-18) and then I went all the way to sundown on the last day of the season before bagging my second, also nice, buck. Somewhere along the way, during the rut, I managed to miss a good buck because he wouldn’t stop for me. Not making an excuse, still should have made the shot. All in all I had a great season with a number of close encounters which is typical for bowhunting. Now it’s time to relax a little and catch up on some things I’ve let go due to hunting.
