Put up a stand Saturday and another one yesterday. With the heat and humidity what they’ve been one stand a day is about all I can handle. Of course, the mosquitos don’t help either. This season is going to be unlike any we’ve had in many years- at least the first few weeks anyway. Wet, wet, wet! If you’ve checked my 2013 Trail Cam gallery you know I’ve got some really good bucks coming in. I just hope the weather will cooperate a little come August 15th. Still got at least five more stands to get up. Once I get them up I’ve still got to go back and get all of my tree straps on as well as my camera arms. Much still to do. Later…

Wow! What a surprise I had when I checked my trail cams recently. Some really great shooter bucks have shown up on a feeder on which I’ve only had doe photos all summer. Go figure. Even if we get some soon the early part of bow season is going to be tough. Later…

This is really going to delay getting into the woods to work on stands, etc. I’ve got several “hot spots” that are basically not accessible right now, and won’t be for a while ( and that depends on a long, dry spell ). Have opened a “Trail Cam- 2013” photo gallery. Check it out. Later…

Not a lot happening these days. Weather hot and wet, too wet to get in the woods and work on stands. I’m still feeding some hi-pro feed and am starting to see some developing bucks. Nothing of special interest yet. Will set up a 2013 Trail Cam photo gallery as soon as I have some pictures worth looking at. Later…
